Patrick Slavin

Patrick is a relationship manager at First Western Trust. He is responsible for the coordination of client services and investment advisory services for all qualified retirement plan clients. Prior to joining First Western, Patrick was most recently an account executive at Principal Financial Group in Denver, where he provided retirement plan consultation services to plan sponsors and their employees. Patrick began his career in retirement plan services at Merrill Lynch, where he acted as a client service representative and provided day-to-day plan administration services for Institutional clients. He also spent six years at in3corp in Boulder, where he managed consulting, benchmarking, and cost recovery projects resulting in $12 Million of direct savings to domestic and international corporations. Overall, Patrick has 10 years of qualified retirement plan experience and sincerely enjoys assisting clients with all aspects of plan design, compliance and legislation, investments, and fiduciary responsibilities.Email Patrick at Patrick.Slavin@myfw.com

What person, living or deceased, would you most like to meet?
John Lennon – Not only was he a prolific songwriter and musician, but a sincere humanitarian whose message of peace transcended all languages and boundaries.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Spending time relaxing with family and good friends is the “happiness” part, and all of us being together at Havasu Falls in the middle of the Grand Canyon makes it “perfect”. Arguably the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.
What is your motto?
My wife keeps a selection of motivational sayings on the window sill in our kitchen. My favorite one currently is:
