Risk Analyst
Brett Lavallee, risk analyst of First Western Trust's Denver office, is responsible to deploy all aspects of the risk framework in the areas of compliance monitoring, audit and exam remediation, cyber-security program maintenance and fraud/incident response documentation.
Prior to joining First Western Trust, Brett in 2016, worked in operations at BMO Financial Group, focusing on product control and loan accounting. Brett also has two professional internships with First Midwest Bank, as Brett worked with wealth management, and with Futures International, LLC. where Brett worked with commodities trading and research. Brett was then recruited by First Western Trust to a risk analyst role in November of 2017.

The things I like most about what I do, is use my abilities to solve a problem that can help push the rest of the team forward. Trying to develop solutions and then testing them to see they will fit the formula.
