DENVER – August 21, 2014 – First Western Trust is pleased to announce Paula Hendrickson, CFP®, director of retirement consulting services, was named the winner of the Denver Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business award for the banking and finance category.

“Paula’s incredible commitment to our clients and dedication to building better solutions in retirement planning have made her an industry leader,” said Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western. “This is a great recognition from her peers and a testament to her knowledge and experience.”

As Director of Retirement Consulting Services, Paulaspearheads the growth and maintenance of the firm’s retirement plan practice. She engages with clients in investment monitoring and consultation, updating compliance regulations and plan benchmarking. Since launching First Western’s retirement consulting department in 2006, Paula has grown the business to more than $1.2 million in revenue and $680 million in assets under management.
