DENVER, Colo. – April 2, 2014 – First Western Trust is excited to announce Paula Hendrickson, Director of Retirement Consulting Services, has been selected for a second consecutive year to join the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) DC Fly-In Forum.

The annual DC Fly-In Forum invites influential advisors in the 401(k) retirement consulting space from across the country to take part in a two-day session with members of congress and key decision makers in Washington. The conference invites 150 of the nation’s top advisors to discuss current regulatory issues on Capitol Hill.

“We are thrilled that Paula has been named to this elite group of advisors,” said Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western Trust. “Paula’s experience as a retirement consultant and fiduciary as well as her dedication to helping companies build and maintain successful retirement plans make her an excellent fit in this advisory capacity for industry insiders.”

Paula further added, “I am honored to participate in the DC Fly-In Forum. As an advisor, my goal is to provide the best advice to our clients to help their employees reach retirement readiness. Meeting with leaders in D.C. is a great opportunity to not only learn about important policy changes and share those with our clients, but to also have honest conversations about which policy changes are in the best interest of our clients and their employees.”

Paula brings 29 years of experience in retirement planning to her clients. She was a Founding Lecturer of The Retirement Advisor University at UCLA and has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Advisors in Defined Contribution by 401k Wire. The First Western Trust Retirement Consulting team was also recently listed by PLANADVISER magazine as one of the Top 100 Plan Advisers.
