Denver, Colo. – May 28, 2014 – First Western Trust is excited to announce Marty May has been promoted to President of First Western Trust, Cherry Creek.

“Marty’s dedication to his clients, our Cherry Creek team, and the Denver community is truly exceptiona,” said Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western Trust. “This promotion recognizes the significant contribution Marty has made not only to First Western, but also to our clients by creating tailored solutions for their complex financial pictures.”

As President, Marty will provide overall leadership to our Cherry Creek office and manage its day-to-day business operations. He will also continue to build and maintain client relationships in collaboration with the Cherry Creek team.  Previously, Marty was senior vice president, where he oversaw business strategies and helped develop valuable solutions and experiences for clients at First Western’s Cherry Creek office.

Marty has more than twenty years of banking experience, having started his career in California and having worked for the last twelve years in Denver.  Most recently, Marty was senior vice president at Front Range Bank, where he helped the bank grow core deposits, improve credit quality and achieve stable profitability.
