Denver, Colo – October 29, 2015 – First Western Trust is excited to announce Paula Hendrickson, director of retirement consulting services, has been named as a top woman advisor by The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA).

In what has long been a male-dominated profession, NAPA uses this distinction to acknowledge the growing number of women who are making a significant contribution in the retirement field. This year, there were over 450 women nominated and winners were selected in 4 different categories.  Paula was honored in the Captains category, which features all-stars who are principles, owners, and team captains of their organization.

“Paula truly epitomizes the definition of captain,” said Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western Trust.  “Her leadership and dedication to her team, her clients, and First Western Trust make her more than qualified for this distinction.”

Paula brings more than 30 years of experience in retirement planning to her clients. She was a founding lecturer of The Retirement Advisor University at UCLA, has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Advisors in Defined Contribution by 401k Wire, and was named an Outstanding Woman in Business by the Denver Business Journal in 2014. The First Western Trust retirement consulting team was also recently listed by PLANADVISER magazine as one of the Top 100 Plan Advisers.
