Phoenix, Arizona – September 15, 2015 – First Western Trust is excited to announce that Kelsey Haake, Relationship Manager, has been honored as one of Phoenix Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” up-and-coming business leaders.

Every year, the Phoenix Business Journal recognizes young business leaders who strive to inspire, innovate, and instigate change. This year’s class particularly stands out for their entrepreneurial spirit and fast paced jobs, along with their exceptional community service and community involvement.

The 40 outstanding honorees were chosen from nearly 400 impressive candidates, by a panel of judges including the news team, sponsors, community partners, and program alumni. “We are very proud of Kelsey for receiving this honor,” said Victor Alonzo, president of First Western Trust, Phoenix. “Through her client service, creativity, and commitment to the community, Kelsey has accomplished a great deal at a young age, and I look forward to seeing what she does next.”

Kelsey brings a depth of experience to First Western and her clients. Prior to joining First Western in early 2014, she was client relationship specialist at Vanguard. She also spent much of her college career as a lawyer’s assistant at New Mexico Legal Aid. Most recently, Kelsey founded “Native Nations Financial Foundations,” an organization which teaches financial literacy to youth in local Native American tribes.
