JACKSON HOLE, WYO. – April 18, 2012 – First Western Trust (First Western) is pleased to announce that it has expanded its established trust operation to Jackson Hole. The office, known as First Western Trust – Jackson Hole, has officially opened its doors at the following address:

690 S. Highway 89, Suite 200
Jackson Hole, WY 83001

First Western Trust – Jackson Hole services will include:

  • Investment management
  • Trust and estate planning
  • Philanthropic services
  • Retirement consulting

Thomas C. McNichols will serve as president of the Jackson Hole office. McNichols has spent much of his financial career in Wyoming and Illinois, and most recently was senior vice president and regional manager for a Denver-based financial services company with responsibilities for Wyoming and Colorado.

“Jackson Hole hosts a wonderful collection of individuals, families and charitable organizations with unique wealth management needs, and First Western has the expert advisors to help them achieve long-term success,” said McNichols. “We’re eager to build strong and lasting relationships with our customers.”

“Our Jackson Hole office allows us to truly be local, trusted partners for residents, and we’re confident they will greatly benefit from our premier and personalized services,” said Scott Wylie, CEO of First Western. “The new team is also excited to contribute to the business community and provide value to the families of Jackson Hole.”

Alongside McNichols is Darby Eagan, senior vice president and senior relationship manager, who has extensive experience assisting families, businesses and non-profit organizations with their financial matters. Prior to her position with First Western, Eagan held Jackson Hole-based positions with Wells Fargo and Jackson State Bank & Trust. The pair will recruit a new team of professionals who are qualified to meet the unique challenges of the Western wealth management client.

The Jackson Hole location marks First Western’s second Wyoming site. The firm announced in February its acquisition of the Trust Department of First National Bank of Wyoming, located in Laramie, Wyo.

First Western, headquartered in the West, provides integrated wealth management solutions on a private banking platform. The firm has more than $4.3 billion in trust and investment management assets and has a full suite of in-house experts, including CFP® professionals, CPAs, and J.D.s.
