DENVER – April 25, 2012 – First Western Trust (“First Western”) announced today that Christopher Viscardi will serve as vice president of the firm’s Cherry Creek location. In this role, Viscardi will lead the office’s asset strategies and lending efforts, among other services.

“Chris emanates the entrepreneurial spirit that’s at the core of First Western,” said Russel Schmucker, president of the Cherry Creek office. “His experience in Denver’s financial market and passion for hands-on investment will serve our current and future customers well.”

Most recently, Viscardi was a commercial real estate lender at Heartland Bank where he managed the origination, structuring and monitoring of senior debt facilities for real estate and business clients in Colorado. In his career, he has negotiated a range of real estate asset types, including: office, industrial, retail, residential and mixed-use developments. Viscardi also held a prior position as an analyst with specialty finance company Brownfields Capital.

Viscardi received a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Colorado State University.
