At First Western Trust, being socially responsible is part of who we are. We pride ourselves on the commitment our associates make to investing in our communities through their involvement with a number of nonprofits, donating their time to local organizations by serving on boards and advisory committees.
We would like to congratulate a few of our associates who have recently accepted board positions with local organizations.

Rebecca Cordes, director of support services, has accepted a board position with Colorado Bankers Association.
The Colorado Bankers Association (CBA) works with the government to continually improve the banking industry in a rapidly changing environment, focusing on increasing benefits for customers and value for shareholders and building a stronger business climate.
Rebecca previously served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement for 12 years and has previously been involved with the Colorado Commission on Affordable Health Care, the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, the American Institute of Banking, and the Denver Civic Ventures Board.
Gary Lutz Joins Board of Directors with Colorado Public Radio
Gary Lutz, president of product groups and commercial banking, has accepted a board position with Colorado Public Radio.

Paula Hendrickson Named Board Chair of the Positive Coaching Alliance
Paula Hendrickson, CFP®, C(k)P™ director of retirement consulting services, has accepted the role of Board Chair, at Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) – Colorado Chapter Board.

Paula has been on the Board for the last two years and recently accepted the leadership position to help lead the way for Colorado youth sports.
Paula has been recognized time and again for her achievements and experience as a retirement consultant at First Western and her commitment to the community. “If we can reach more athletes, coaches, and parents, we can make a huge positive change to youth sports which will then change sports across all levels – college and professional – and ultimately create better people,” said Hendrickson.
